Terms of service

These terms govern use of LegitDiary Events. By creating an account or publishing an event, you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

Accounts and eligibility

Hosts must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, keep access to their email account secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Guest access does not require an account.

Host responsibilities

A host is responsible for event content, the accuracy and lawful use of guest contact details, obtaining any required consent, honoring opt-outs, and responding to guest privacy requests. Invitation links are private credentials and must not be posted publicly.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or discriminatory activity; unsolicited bulk messaging; credential or payment collection; malware; harassment; impersonation; or attempts to bypass access controls, limits, or another event's privacy.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant LegitDiary Events a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it.

Service changes and suspension

Beta features may change, experience interruptions, or be withdrawn. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, or address violations. Hosts may stop using the service and schedule account deletion from Settings.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. LegitDiary Events does not guarantee event attendance, message delivery, uninterrupted availability, or the conduct of hosts or guests. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will identify the effective date. Your continued use after a material update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@legitdiary.com.
